It's been a very fruitful year so far regarding Do Not Miss articles! Check the most interesting things I've seen around the internet in April 2014:
- Lorgar by Mathieu Fontaine: Lots of Primarchs in the internet nowadays. I liked this version of Lorgar very much.
- Space Themed Eldar army by Nadezdha Reka: Following this space themed Eldar army on commission, Nadya posted a lot of articles about it this past month. First she painted this Spiritseer in a way that will not leave you indifferent. Then she showed us these super cool Eldar HQ on jetbikes. Later on, a Warlock and Farseer, and finally, an interesting tutorial on how to achieve the space effect. It's like the technique used by all those street artists that paint space landscapes with spray cans!
- Memento un Utero, army display for Adepticon 2014: This amazing army display was made for this huge wargaming event, which took place this past month. It was also announced to be for sale, here!
- Darksword miniatures by Arsies: Cool old school miniatures painted by Javi. Just before he disappeared because he became father this month! Congrats Javi!
- Bernard Law Montgomery, bust by Sang-Eon Lee: Another super cool bust modelled by Sang-Eon Lee painted by Myeong-Ha Hwang.
- Kosmik Kanz, in Le Blog des Kouzes: More additions to this amazing Ork army.
- Worn out leather tutorial in Eureka Miniature (in Spanish only): Interesting guidelines on painting leather, sadly only in Spanish.
- The Nightwatch, by Roman Lappat: Great tutorial on how Roman created his Nightwatch, on Massive Voodoo of course.
- Roten Belles, making the base by Fantasydemon (Luis): The base of this scene is painted in a way that suggests that it has been raining. Check out how Luis made this great effect! Sadly, only in Spanish.
- Ainariel Elf Hunter by Nadezdha Reka: Not satisfied with all the Eldar space themed articles, Nadya also paints Ainariel in 54mm. Check out the first part and second part of the article!
- Gilgamesh, Sedition Wars by Remy Tremblay: Long time without reading or seeing anything from Remy. Another great creation, this time for Studio McVey!
- Tutorial on photography by Meg Maples: Meg shows us some good tricks and tips on taking photos of miniatures, one of the most difficult things a painter will have to deal with.
- The Brush Brothers competition: The polish group of painters "The Brush Brothers" has called for entries for their new contest. Check it out!
- Creating the base of Scottish Bones: Cool article about creating the base of this cool conversion of a skeleton, in the 5th Dimension blog.
- Small transport case review: Many people want solutions for miniature transportation, here you have an interesting review of this miniature transport case that you can buy from Poland.
- Freehand of a Wolf: Step by step process on drawing the freehand of a wolf head, by BaSiLiSk.
- Pirate Buccaneer Step by Step in Massive Voodoo: And yet another cool step by step article in MV, by Roman. This time, a Ron&Bones bust of a cartoon pirate.
- Ralph McQuarrie's original paintings for Star Wars: Unrelated to minis, I know, but this is so great that I had to share it here.
