Guess who is coming to town this weekend

This weekend one of my favourite miniature artists of all time is coming to Madrid!

Kirill in action!

Kirill Kanaev is going to give a course on miniature painting this weekend, and I'm pretty sure it's going to be awesome. Those who know me, are very aware of how much I love his work and how much I would love to be able to understand miniature painting the way he does. When I heard that he was going to be traveling around to teach courses all over the world, I knew I had to bring him to Madrid.

The course will be held the same way I usually organize courses here in Madrid. Only those who signed up for the newsletter about my courses were notified of the opportunity, so only a few fortunate painters from that list will be attending.

I can't say enough how excited I am! So looking forward to this, it's going to be one hell of a weekend...

... because these days Madrid is the closest place to hell I can think of

Let's hope Kirill survives the big contrast in temperature he will find in Madrid compared to mother Russia!
