Euromilitaire 2012

Surprise! This weekend as you already know, I'm in the UK to attend Games Day and Golden Demon UK 2012. As we are staying in London, we decided to visit Folkestone on Saturday, because Euromilitaire 2012 is taking place also this weekend (very convenient for us that we are not entering competition in either contest so we are able to visit both in the same weekend). Our visit to Folkestone wasn't planned, but it has been a great idea. One of the best Historical shows in the world, were we have been able to see tons of great miniatures. Here's some photos of the expo so you can get an idea of the show:

Do not miss this amazing diorama from Juan Carlos Ávila, it took him 5 years to complete it

There is a lot of absolutely amazing stuff. Don't miss Juan Carlos Ávila's diorama, Jaume Ortiz and Alfonso Prado's miniatures, and in the fantasy section, the work by Chris Clayton and Juan José Barrena (JJ). And I'm leaving a lot of great miniatures I'm not mentioning, there were simply too many, I was overwhelmed!! Tomorrow Sunday the winners will be announced. May the best piece win! Good luck to all!

We will not be there to see it I'm afraid. We're off to see GD UK, our next stop in this little UK tour of ours. But who knows, we may not be able to make it...

Arggghhhh, if I'd known you were going to be there I'd have loved to meet up again, anyway I'm glad you enjoyed the visit even if I missed you. Oh, and the leper knight in dark blue was Adie Bay's.

Hope you had lots of fun at GD
