Artscale Imperial Fist Deathwatch

This is a Deathwatch Imperial Fist of the Space Marines, transformed by Simon (Master of the Forge) to be closer to what Space Marines would be like if they were properly scaled in the Warhammer 40k universe. It is part of a Charity Project between Simon and me, so this model will be auctioned and all the benefits obtained will go to the Birmingham Dogs Home which Simon is very grateful to because he adopted his dog there and we want to support their effort.

This mini was also awarded Silver in the Open category in Golden Demon Italy 2012. So if you want to purchase it, not only will you be helping the Birmingham Dogs Home, but also you will get a real Golden Demon winner piece modelled by Simon and painted by me! Click on the photos to see them bigger.

There are a few pics of the beginning of the painting process (the Step by Step article link below) so you can get a glimpse of how it was painted.

All comments are more than welcome, as usual.

Wow, I have been so busy lately, I almost missed this awesome paintjob!

Unfortunately, I missed the auction, too :/

¡Perfecto, amigo!

Una pregunta..would you mind sharing your color palette? It's a beautiful yellow. I'm building Fists right now and would love some insight :)

¡Gracias, y feliz año nuevo!
